Lots of women love shoes and that's why many of us update our collection on a seasonal basis. Shoes can have a major impact on our outfits and we are only too aware of that.
So, with spring already upon us and summer not far behind, it's time to look at what's hot for the seasons ahead.
In general, it would be fair to say that the top shoe trends are based on the footloose and fancy free feel of the season as well as the all important comfort factor. And, as a result, we will be seeing lots of flats but without that meaning that they lose any sense of femininity or style.

3. Clog On
Clogs are a trend we're going to see a lot of this year. Easy to wear from morning to night depending, of course, on the style you choose. Some are designed with a separate heel whereas others are just plain and simple platform clogs.
Plenty were on offer during fashion week in various styles from chic striking designs with rounded shapes and metal detailing as well as more rustic offerings with wooden soles. Sky-high colourful clogs also made a lasting impression.
4. Flatforms
Flats with chunky soles remain a top fashion trend for Spring Summer 2021. Easy to wear and flattering to the figure it's no wonder this style remains a firm favourite.
5. Flat Out
If you are looking for style and comfort, then this season's fashion is just what you've been waiting for. Flats are so so hot for the months ahead - yes, plain and simple chic flats. Ballerinas and slingbacks are the designs to look out for.
6. Strappy Sandals
Another top trend for Spring/Summer 2021 is casual chic sandals. Slides and strappies both fall into this category crafted in leather, suede, cord and even plastic reflecting the simplicity of the season.
7. Gladiator Sandals and Ankle Straps
One of the most eye-catching styles for the season is gladiator sandals. Mostly flat and in varying and striking designs, these shoes are going to get you noticed.
Another hot design that we're going to be seeing a lot of is flats or heels that tie at the ankle. If gladiator sandals are a step too far for your own personal style, then these ankle sandals are just what you are looking for.
8. Chain Me Up
Chains have been a must for two seasons now and will continue to be a striking decorative detail on footwear for Spring Summer 2021. Chains lend classy sparkle to your shoes and your style!

Another chic and stylish yet comfy design for the months ahead is the kitten heel. These fabulously feminine shoes are ideal for the day and evening and will always lend unique style to your look.
10. Be Square
As we've said before, the new season's shoes are based on ease and comfort without compromising on style. Therefore, square toe shoes that leave plenty of room for those toes continue to be a top trend for the season ahead.
11. Nets
Knit and net clothing will be hot fashion favourites for the warm months ahead and this has influenced shoe design for the spring summer season. An absolute must for fashion forward footwear is knit and net design shoes.
12. Sneakers
Sporty chic has been a trend for quite some time and this season is not going to be an exception. As such, sneakers are an absolute must. Whether you prefer an athletic style or a more funky look, there's plenty to choose from.
13. Androgynous
If you're looking for classy formal comfy shoes for the office - and elsewhere, an ideal option is androgynous style. The androgynous design is still top of the style list for this season with loafers remaining top of the class.
