Having spent last winter mainly at home in our slippers I think it's safe to say that this year most of us are looking forward to some good ol' retail therapy shopping for new shoes and boots! So with autumn well and truly underway, it's time to check out what we're going to be wearing on our feet this season. Chunky combat boots, preppy loafers and sparkly boots are just some of the styles we'll be seeing on the high street in the months ahead. Over- the- knee boots in classic black or brown are a firm favourite for the season ahead. But don't be dull - uplifting bright colours such as red, blue and green are a popular choice too and will always elevate a winter look. “These boots were made for walking” as the song goes and it rings very true for this winter's favourites too. Think sheepskin, wool and faux fur but don't think you have to limit this style to jeans and pullovers - they'll look just as stylish with a feminine frock!

Prep it up with brogues, loafers and ballet flats. This year we'll be seeing them with chain detail in keeping with the sparkle trend. Wear with socks and pleated skirts for a retro preppy look.

Embrace the shine and dazzle as you step out this season. Glitter, sequins and metallic fabrics and leather will be the hot trend for footwear for the cold months ahead. So brighten those dark dull days and let your twinkle toes do the sparkling for a glam look that we are totally in love with.

Riding boots are back although for some they never went away. Timeless and chic, these warm comfy boots will always lift your look and lend a classy vibe to your ensembles.

Another trend to look out for this season is stylish rain boots. These ramped up wellies will totally ratchet up your style credentials this season. Whether ankle or knee high, these rubber boots look great with leggings and leather shorts. Wear under an animal print wrap dress for a stylish statement look.
Cute Kittens
Court shoes and sling backs are a popular choice for Fall/Winter 21-22. For a truly up-to-date look opt for kitten heels thus ensuring a cute feminine feel.

Back with a vengeance this season are pointy toes. So forget your rounded ballet flats and get on board with this fresh glam look. Pointy toes will lend an elegant feminine feel to your look. Wear with jeans or maxi skirts and dresses.

If you're not a fan of the pointy toe then the square toe is another top trend to consider. This blast from the past will add a 90s retro feel to your look. For a fashion forward flashback wear with luxe leather pants. Square toed boots or shoes? The choice is yours!
